1 killed, 2 injured after trike and motorcycle collided head on in Ballesteros, Cagayan

Ballesteros, Cagayan – A road accident in Ballesteros on Tuesday, May 22, involving two vehicles claimed the life of a 28-year-old man and injured another individual.

The casualty was identified as Rolyjan Pesca, a resident of Barangay Centro West, Ballesteros.

Police reports obtained by a local media outlet disclosed that Pesca was riding a scooter that day when he met the tragic accident.

According to the police, he was traversing the national road in Barangay Cabuluan East when he lost control of his vehicle and ended on the other lane, causing him to hit the oncoming tricycle.

The tricycle driver was identified as Don Don Reynon, 29, a resident of Barangay Centro East in the said municipality.

Pesca and Reynon were both injured due to the collision.

The responding medical team rushed the two to a hospital, unfortunately, Pesca was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Reynon, meantime, survived the incident and is now in a stable condition.
