11-year-old boy in Tabuk taken by peeping tom


Tabuk City, Kalinga – An 11-year-old boy in the city was said to have been forcibly taken by a man whom the boy caught ogling at his aunt while she was taking a bath in New Tanglag on September 6, 2022.


Based on the initial investigation of the Tabuk City police, it was found out that the victim’s aunt was taking a bath in their bathroom when the boy saw this man peeping outside.

When the said man realized that he was caught by the child, it was then that he allegedly dragged him in the mountainous part of Barangay New Tanglag.


The family along with the community and authorities was alerted with the incident and immediately looked for the child.


Later on, the terrified boy who had managed to escape the man was found by the community at Wonder Village in New Tanglag.


Authorities brought the child to Kalinga Provincial Hospital for medical check-up and was later endorsed to the City Social Welfare and Development Office for debriefing.


Investigation on the case is still in progress.
