120 yApayao cops to undergo 2-month training to enhance counter-insurgency skills

Luna, Apayao - A total of 120 police officers in Apayao are set to undergo a two-month training to further enhance their counter-insurgency skills throughthe Basic Internal Security Operations Course (BISOC) which was relaunched in the province on June 24, 2024.

 

The training course was supported by the PLGU through the leadership of Governor Elias Bulut Jr. and officially opened with a ceremony at Camp Governor Elias K. Bulut Sr. and Training Center in Santa Lina, Luna, on said day. 

 

Governor Bulut served as the guest of honor and speaker, in which he joined the official declaration of the opening of Class 02-13-RCOR-2024-32 and Class 02-13-RCOR-2024-33 with Police Lieutenant Colonel Arnold Dugas, the Assistant Chief of Cordillera Regional Special Training Unit (RSTU).

 

In the training, the participating police officers' will be provided with the necessary knowledge that they will use in performing their duties and in improving their mindset and discipline.

 

BISOC is designed to hone the capabilities of the trainees to be an effective and skilled police officers that will help the Philippine National Police suppress insurgency, terrorism, and criminalities in the country.
