13-yr.-old girl repeatedly raped by own father in Jones, Isabela

Jones, Isabela - Instead of enjoying her teenage days, a 13-year-old girl in Jones, Isabela, suffered undesirable events in her life after her own father molested her multiple times.

According to police reports, the victim, whose identity is withheld, told her relatives that his father repeatedly raped her in their house.

Her relatives later reported the matter to the Municipal Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

As a response, DSWD-Jones immediately conducted an investigation, and it was known that the victim’s parents had already parted ways. The 13-year-old girl, along with her sibling, is living with their father.

The consulting authorities later brought the victim to the Jones police station for appropriate action.

In his interview with the local media, Police Major Felixberto Lelina disclosed that the suspect is now arrested, and they have charged him with four cases.

In connection, Lelina urged women in the municipality who are experiencing such abuses to report it at their office for immediate action.
