17 and 16-year-old boys rob gas station in Tabuk City using toy gun

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Two teenagers in the city robbed a gas station in Barangay Bulo using a gun replica to intimidate the manager of the establishment on Sunday evening, June 12, 2022.

The 17 and 16-year-old suspects entered the store of the gas station past 8:00 in the evening and posed as customers, the Tabuk City police reported.

At that time, the 19-year-old manager was at the cashier’s desk. However, when the other customers left the store, one of the suspects allegedly pointed a short firearm to the manager while his companion hauled cigarettes and put them in his backpack.

Sensing the arrival of other buyers, the two suspects immediately left the establishment and ran towards their motorcycle.

Just before the two could escape, the manager shouted and alerted the other customers and passersby who immediately grabbed and restrained the two.

The two teens were brought to the police station. Taken from the suspects is a replica of caliber .45, 4 reams of cigarettes, an android phone, a watch, and P5,562 cash.

A case for robbery with intimidation has been filed against them.
