17-yr.-old boy who tested motorcycle speed dies in Isabela road crash

Jones, Isabela – Authorities have always been reminding the public to avoid speeding when on board their vehicles to avoid accidents.

 

However, contrary to the constant reminder, a young man in Jones, Isabela, committed the act that led to a self-inflicted road crash, claiming his life on December 26, 2023.

 

The casualty was identified as Justine Felipe, a 17-year-old student and a resident of Barangay 2, Jones, Isabela.

 

A police report obtained by local media disclosed that Felipe was speeding his motorcycle at about 2:00 pm on the said day just to test the vehicle's capacity.

 

Unfortunately, Felipe lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a kilometer post on the side of the road, particularly in Barangay Palagao.

 

Witnesses said that the victim also bent down while riding his motorcycle when the incident occurred.

 

Due to the impact of the crash, the victim sustained severe injuries to various parts of his body.

 

He was immediately rushed to the hospital by the responding authorities but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
