17-yr.-old rider dies after crashing into farm cart in Rizal, Kalinga


Rizal, Kalinga – A teenager from San Francisco, Rizal succumbed to injuries after the motorcycle he was riding with his friends crashed into a farm cart on Thursday evening.


The 17-year-old rider was driving an XRM motorcycle with two 16-year-olds as his back riders around 8:40 p.m. this March 23, Kalinga police stated.

While traversing the provincial road in San Francisco, the rider didn’t notice a farm cart parked on the road and crashed against its rear portion.


The impact caused fatal injuries to the 17-year-old who was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.


His other companion sustained an abrasion on his knees while the other 16-year-old was unharmed.


The involved motorcycle was brought in the custody of Rizal Municipal Police Station.
