18-yr-old student from Benguet dies in motorcycle crash in Pangasinan

La Trinidad, Benguet - A family in Benguet is now grieving the loss of their 18-year-old boy who died in a road accident on Monday, August 19, in Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

The deceased, identified as Clint Lloyd Diwas, was a student and a resident of La Trinidad, Benguet.

A report from the Dagupan Police Station obtained by the media disclosed that Diwas, along with his two pillion passengers, was on board a motorcycle when the incident occurred.

It was said that Diwas did not notice the curved portion of the newly constructed Dawel Bridge in said city, causing the vehicle to hit a gutter.

The three were thrown off the motorcycle, which resulted in severe injuries to their bodies.

The responding authorities rushed them to a hospital nearby, but Diwas was pronounced dead on arrival by the attending physician.

The two back riders, meanwhile, are currently recuperating at the hospital. They were identified as Jerwin Ngaseo and Lorilyn Villanueva, both residents of Baguio City.
