19-year-old in Nueva Vizcaya arrested for molesting aunt

Solano, Nueva Vizcaya – A 19-year-old was arrested Wednesday, September 13, and is now facing charges of rape after allegedly sexually molesting his aunt in Solano.

The young man, whose name is withheld, was arrested through a follow-up operation by Solano police after a 28-year-old woman who happens to be the suspect’s aunt, reported the incident to their office.

Based on the victim’s accounts, the rape incident happened while she was asleep at about 1 AM on September 12, 2022, at their house in Barangay Baresbes, Solano.

She was awakened after realizing that the suspect was on top of her. She added the suspect was able to satisfy his desire by using his strength to overpower her. The suspect fled the scene right after.

It was known by police that before the incident, the suspect was first seen having a drinking spree with his relatives in said barangay.

At present, the suspect is under the custody of Quezon Police Station in Solano.
