19-yr.-old dies in hit and run in Bantay, Tabuk City

Tabuk City, Kalinga - A 19-year-old man died on Friday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash at Cacaligan, Bantay, Tabuk City.

According to witnesses, the crash might have occurred around 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 11.

The victim, Lourence Milla of Linglingay, Bulanao Norte, was walking home from work when the accident happened.

A rider who discovered the victim in a critical state along the road promptly informed barangay officials in the area.

With the assistance of soldiers and members of the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit in the barangay, the victim was transported to Kalinga Provincial Hospital.

Unfortunately, Lourence succumbed to his sustained injuries around 2 p.m. on Friday, January 12.

The relatives and families of the victim are now seeking justice in the search for the hit-and-run driver.

Meanwhile, the police are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the culprit.
