2 Baguio cosplayers represent PH in World Cosplay Competition

Baguio City, Philippines – Among talented cosplay models in the country, two cosplayers in Baguio City will be representing the Philippines in the world’s largest cosplay showdown this coming August.

Jayvee Lagman and Chazzz will be attending the World Cosplay Summit at the Aichi Arts Center Grand Hall in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture in Japan on August 3,2024.

The event is dubbed as the ‘biggest cosplay festival on the planet’ where top cosplayers coming from the different parts of the world gather for ultimate cosplay showdown. The summit convenes over 200,000 individuals who love anime, manga, and games every year.

Lagman and Chazzz earned their spot to represent the country after competing against esteemed cosplayers in the Philippines.

The Baguio City Tourism sends out their support and encouragement to the two saying, “…Best wishes to Team Kogeki as they showcase their exceptional talent on the international stage!”

Last year’s World Cosplay Summit grand champion is United Kingdom.
