2 brothers in Tabuk City arrested for illegal drugs

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Two brothers tagged by the police as ‘High Value Individual’ drug personalities were charged following the discovery of illegal drugs at their places last week.

 

The suspects who were not named by the authorities were identified as a 25-year-old tricycle driver and a 29-year-old construction worker who are residents of Dagupan Weste, Tabuk City. Both have also been listed as Regional Top Ten Individual Drug Personalities.

 

The police first searched the 25-year-old’s place on March 13, 2025. The authorities recovered 4 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P11,560. Drug paraphernalia such as aluminum foils and lighter were also seized.

 

Armed with another arrest warrant, anti-narcotic cops proceeded to the house of the 29-year-old suspect on the same day where they found 6 sachets of suspected shabu worth P4,080 and suspected dried marijuana worth P360. Moreover, the operatives also recovered 13 pieces of live ammunition for Cal 45.

 

The two were brought to the Tabuk City Police Station. Both were charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 with the 29-year-old suspect facing additional case for violation of RA 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
