2 Cagayanos top Feb. 2024 Criminologist board exam

Cagayan, Philippines – Two of the top 10 performing examinees in the recently conducted Criminology board exam hail from the Province of Cagayan.

In the results released by the Professional Regulation Commission on March 6, Fernando Vicente Abanto and Leian Kate Cayari Reyes were named as topnotchers of the February 2024 Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE).

Abanto, who graduated from Saint Joseph's College of Baggao, landed at Top 3 with a 90.65% rating, while Reyes, who obtained her degree from the University of Cagayan Valley, ranked 8th with an 89.60% average.

St. Joseph College Criminology Pioneer

Abanto’s success in the board exam is even more thrilling as he’s one of the pioneer students of Bachelor of Science in Criminology at St. Joseph College of Baggao.

Beaming with pride, the school celebrated the milestone with Abanto in a Facebook post.

“May this remarkable achievement in the February 2024 Licensure Examination be the springboard to even greater accomplishments and successes in your future endeavors,” St. Joseph College of Baggao wrote.

The Baggao Municipal Local Government Unit, meanwhile, congratulated Abanto and informed that he will be receiving a plaque of recognition and cash incentive from the LGU.

The Power of Manifestation

As for Reyes, topping the CLE is what she has been manifesting even before she took the board exam.

On March 6, after the results came out, she revisited her Facebook post from September 13, 2023, where she expressed her aspiration to be included in the list of national topnotchers.

“MAGTATOP AKO KASI KAYA KO. PARA SA MAMA KO AT MGA PANGARAP KO!!” she wrote on that day.

This demonstrates how believing in your dream can bring you to fruition. Reyes manifested it, and now she has achieved it.
