2 dead found floating in separate rivers in Benguet

Tuba, Benguet - Two bodies, both under the state of decomposition, were found floating in separate rivers in Benguet.

According to police reports obtained by local media near the area, the first body was found on June 11 in Bued River in Sitio Kaipilan, Barangay Camp 3, Tuba.

The victim is a woman with an estimated 160 cm height.

Meanwhile, a body of man was discovered along the Boakan River, particularly at the border of Bakun and Mankayan, Benguet on June 12.

It was estimated that the victim was between 20 and 40 years of age and was naked when found.

At present, investigations are currently underway to establish the identity of the victims.

To hasten the identification of the victims, police are encouraging the public, particularly those who have missing members of their families, to coordinate with them.
