2 dead babies found in trash bag in Baguio City


Baguio City, Philippines – Two fetuses were found dead in separate barangays in Baguio City earlier this May 2023.


Baguio City police revealed the first fetus was found inside a container thrown in Barangay Lower Rock Quarry on May 06.

On Wednesday, another fetus was discovered at a vacant lot in Barangay Military Cut-Off. It was wrapped in garbage bag before it was put in plastic bag then in sack bag, the Station 5 of Baguio City Police Office described.


These are the first babies found abandoned within the said police station’s area of jurisdiction this year.


As part of the authorities’ investigation, they are now reviewing the CCTV camera to possibly identify those behind the incidents.


Suspects will face abortion cases.
