2 graduates from Cordillera top teachers board exam abroad

Tabuk City, Kalinga – While fulfilling their dreams abroad, two graduates of Cordillera universities emerged as topnotchers in the recently-held Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) for Professional Teachers.

 

These board passers are Suzeth Ancheta of the University of the Philippines – Baguio City and Marites Talape of the University of Abra (Abra State Institute of Sciences and Technology).

 

Ancheta and Talape were among the 752 educators who took the SPLE for Professional Teachers administered by the Professional Regulation Commission in the Middle East and Singapore on June 18, 2024.

 

Among the 252 who passed in the secondary level category, Ancheta was announced as the top 1 with a 92.60 rating while Talape was named top 3 with an 89.20 overall average.

 

Ancheta finished Bachelor of Science in Biology at UP Baguio in 2004 while Talape graduated from the ASIST Bangued in 2006 with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Filipino. With their feat, the two received felicitations from their proud and respective alma maters.
