Isabela, Philippines – It was a fine and normal Thursday afternoon at Southern Isabela Medical Center(SIMC) in Santiago City when gunfire erupted inside the facility, killing two lady guards.

In a CCTV footage released on Facebook, a man was seen talking to a lady guard before he shot the latter and killed another guard inside the hospital.

According to a police report, as cited by XFM Santiago, the man identified as Randolf Cadang Lacaden, 40, a resident of Balintocatoc, Santiago City, is also a security guard at SIMC but he was off-duty when the shooting incident happened around 3:00 p.m. on July 27.

Lacaden who was alleged to be intoxicated at the time entered the building and approached one of the guards who was also his ex-girlfriend, Ruby Joy Sapaula, 36, a resident of Barangay Mabini, and asked her to lend him money.
