2 men caught having sex at Burnham Park, temporarily released from jail after paying bail

Baguio City, Philippines – There are places reserved for intimate activities, but none of them are in public places like the Burnham Park in Baguio City.

Among those who took their chances at a public area were two men – a 46-year-old, married and a native of Mt. Province, and a 27-year-old, single, and native of Nueva Ecija. Unfortunately for them, they were caught by a security guard.

According to the police, as cited by a local media on April 27, a security guard was recently patrolling around the Biking Lane of the Inner Lake Drive at the Burnham Park when he caught the two men who currently reside in Baguio City in a sexual act.

This prompted him to report the two suspects, who were then arrested by the authorities. They were charged with a grave scandal.

The 46-year-old and 27-year-old later got out of jail after paying their bail set at P3,000 each.

Meantime, it could be recalled that the Baguio City officials passed an ordinance prohibiting ‘petting, kissing, necking and lying down together’ in parks. This is to protect children from witnessing lewd and inappropriate acts.
