2 Students arrested in Tabuk City for selling Shabu

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Following the arrest of a 19-year-old drug peddler in Barangay Lacnog, another two teenagers were arrested in a buy-bust operation this February 10,2022 in Purok 6, Bulanao.

The suspects were a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old students from Pasil, but currently residing in Tabuk City, according to the Kalinga Police Provincial Office.

Police report disclosed that the two who are listed as street-level drug personalities were arrested around 1:58 PM on Thursday after selling a medium heat-sealed sachet containing substance alleged to be shabu.

The contraband was said to be at least 1.5 grams and is worth P10,200.

Other items seized from their possession include 3 pieces of P1,000 bill which were used as the buy-bust and boodle money and a piece of android phone.

The two were brought to the custody of Tabuk City Police Station where they were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

It could be recalled that on February 9, a 19-year-old grade 11 student was arrested by the Kalinga police after selling 2 sachets of suspected Shabu and possessing another 2 sachets of the same substance during a buy-bust operation.
