Tabuk City, Kalinga – Two students ended up in the hospital after they were shot along the Provincial Road in Bulanao early morning of Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Information obtained by GURU Press Cordillera revealed that the two victims, 21-year-old and 20-year-old students, were out with their friends when the incident happened.

One of their peers who witnessed the incident recounted to Tabuk City police investigators that they were drinking at an establishment in Purok 5, Bulanao around 2:00 a.m. when the shooting happened. He added they met the shooter when the latter, together with his companion, allegedly harassed their female friends who were about to exit the building.

After they were provoked by the suspect and his peer, the witness along with the two victims followed the two men who boarded their motorcycle. However, the back rider suddenly pulled a short firearm and shot the 21 and 20-year-old victims.

The two were immediately brought to the Kalinga Provincial Hospital.
