20-yr.-old man arrested for showing penis to students in Baguio

Baguio City, Philippines - A 20-year-old man was arrested by the authorities on Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, after he showed his genitalia to two students in Baguio City.

According to the police report, as cited by the Mt. Province Broadcasting Corporation, the two victims were on their way to their school when the suspect, whose identity was kept, did the perverted act.

The suspect is now in police custody while the necessary documents are being processed for his detention at the Baguio City Jail Male Dorm.

He will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 11313, otherwise known as the Safe Space Act and Unjust Vexations.

With this incident, authorities reminded the public, specifically parents in the city, to accompany their children when they are going to school.

They added that if they are unable to do so, they should ask their relatives to escort and pick their kids up from school on their behalf.
