20-yr.-old college student in Cagayan faces 35 counts of statutory rape


Cagayan, Philippines – At a young age, a college student tagged by the Women and Children Protection Desk as the Most Wanted Person in Region 2 is already facing 35 counts of statutory rape.


The accused was identified as alias Dominic, 20, a sophomore, and a resident of Bangian village in Abulug, Cagayan, the Police Provincial Office through the Provincial Information Office reported Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

With complaints of sexually molesting minors aged 16 or under, the suspect was arrested.


While at the precinct, Regional Trial Court 33 issued a warrant of arrest to the accused for additional counts of statutory rape.


Alias Dominic is now under the custody of Abulug Police Station.


No bail was recommended for each count.
