La Trinidad, Benguet – Two hundred new police officers are set to serve the Cordillera Administrative Region after successfully undergoing the rigorous process of the Philippine National Police recruitment.

These 200 new patrolmen and patrolwomen formally took oath at Camp Major Bado Dangwa, on October 14, 2022.

The PNP Cordillera reported that PROCOR Deputy Regional Director for Administration John Chua administered the oath and awarded the Automated Teller Machine Cards to the new cops.

Police Brigadier General Chua challenged the newly appointed police officers to prove themselves worthy of being part of the PNP organization. He also told them to wear their uniform with vigor, determination, and integrity.

The oath-taking ceremony was followed by the Reception Rites, a PNP tradition of welcoming their new members that aims not just to measure their physical strength but likewise to develop their camaraderie and determination in embracing life in the police service.

Now that they are officially part of the PNP, these 200 newly appointed men and women in uniform will undergo a 6-month Public Safety Basic Recruit Course training and a 6-month Field Training Program.
