26-yr.-old soldier in Baguio to face rape case

Baguio City, Philippines – A 26-year-old soldier in Baguio is set to face a rape case following an incident where he allegedly took advantage of a 25-year-old victim he hired for a home service massage.

According to the police report, the victim declined the suspect's request for an extra service during the massage session.

Despite the rejection, the suspect proceeded to inappropriately touch the victim's body.

Although the suspect paid the victim P3,000, it was revealed that the victim is determined to pursue legal action.

The police emphasized their readiness to subject the suspect to an inquest proceeding to address the gravity of the allegations.
