Isabela, Philippines – A 29-year-old rider died after crashing into an early warning device put up in a bridge under repair in Ilagan, Isabela.

The victim was then heading in the north direction past 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 04., when he accidentally hit the warning device at the Marana Bridge, Ilagan police said.

With the impact, his head was severely injured, causing his immediate death.

Without carrying any identification, the responding personnel could only provide his description at first. He was said to be wearing a plain black T-shirt and shorts, with a tattoo on his right leg.

It was only on Thursday that his pregnant wife was able to confirm his identity – Delfin Navarro, a market vendor, and a resident of Osmeña village of the same city.
