3 Cordilleran public servants among national semi-finalists of “Dangal ng Bayan” 2024

Baguio City, Philippines - Three out of the eleven national semi-finalists of the search for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees (Dangal Ng Bayan ) 2024 are public servants from Cordillera.

The Dangal Ng Bayan Award is being conferred to individuals who exemplify an extraordinary act of public service, based on the eight norms of conduct provided under Republic Act No. 6713.

Awardees will receive various rewards such as a cash prize, an automatic promotion, or a salary increase, among others.

The search is being administered by the Philippine Civil Service Commission.

The commission announced on Thursday, August 12, the eleven semifinalists of this year’s search for Dangal Ng Bayan, where three of them were from the Cordillera.

They are Mr. Reymaximiano Aquino (Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center Nursing Attendant II), Doctor Jimmy Billod (BGHMC Medical Specialist III), and Mr. Florentino Dela Cruz Jr. (Administrative Aide III at Baguio City Public Library).
