3 Cordillerans hailed as PH ‘Most Inspiring Entrepreneurs’


Tabuk City, Kalinga – Three Cordillerans, including one from Kalinga, were among the 20 awardees of this year’s Search for the Most Inspiring Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in the country.

Awardees in the Cordillera are Elvira Dupli of Y-Kalinga Tapis Handloom Woven Products, Tabuk City, Kalinga, Di Anne Mendoza of Breastfeeding Care Center of the North, Baguio City and Dean Michael Cuanso of Watwatworld Creative Media and Accents and Petals, Benguet.


The trio received their award during the National MSME Summit 2023 held on Tuesday, July 18 at the Manila Hotel.


Department of Trade and Industry Philippines Secretary Alfredo Pascual, Executive Secretary Justice Lucas Bersamin, and Go Negosyo Founder Joey Concepcion who graced the activity led the awarding ceremony.

On its Facebook page, DTI said the summit is organized by the MSME Development Council and is supported by the agency and Go Negosyo.


Said summit ‘serves as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and inspiration, equipping MSMEs with the tools, insights, and connections necessary to thrive in the dynamic and challenging business environment.’
