3 died after motorcycle, ten-wheeler truck collided head-on in Isabela

Cabagan, Isabela – Three individuals died on Thursday, November 23, after a motorcycle slammed straight into an oncoming 10-wheeler truck along the national road in Balasig Cabagan, police said.

Police investigation revealed the motorcycle rider with two backriders, entered the lane of the ten-wheeler truck in a curved portion of said road.

The truck was then heading to San Pablo, while the motorcycle was en route to Tumauini.

It was then that the head-on collision transpired that resulted in the death of Redentor Quilang, 28, a resident of Tumauini, Isabela, and his two backriders whose names are yet to be identified.

The truck driver, meantime, identified as Berny Mauricio, 42, a resident of Virgonez, San Agustin, is now in police custody.

In the event that there will be no amicable settlement, Mauricio shall face charges for reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicides.
