3 individuals in Ifugao commended for their act of honesty

Lagawe, Ifugao – Three individuals from Asipulo, Ifugao were recognized by the provincial government for their act of honesty and integrity, returning a huge amount of money without a second thought.

William Anudon and his grandson Cris Jericho Buccahan, found money amounting to P305,000 while crossing the Bahag-Amduntog Road earlier this year. They later turned over the money to the Asipulo Municipal Police Station.

In the same situation, Jerry Inuguidan also found money amounting to P685,000 while he was traversing the same road. Inuguidan surrendered the money to authorities.

The lost and found money was claimed by rightful owners.

Through Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolutions No. 2023-282, 2023-283, and 2023-284, the province expressed its appreciation to Anudon, Buccahan, and Inuguidan during the flag-raising rites Monday, July 31, at the provincial hall.

“Their laudable acts reflect their profound sense of propriety, strength of character and christian values,” the resolutions read.

The resolutions were presented by Vice-Governor Glenn Prudenciano and SP Members Hon. Albert Binlang Jr., Hon. Josel Guyguyon, Hon. Perfecta Dulnuan, and Hon. Aezle Dumangeng during a flag ceremony earlier this month.
