3 men in shabu session in Tabuk City apprehended

Tabuk City, Kalinga — Three men having shabu session at Ay-en Subdivision in Barangay Dagupan West were arrested by the police Thursday noon, May 26, 2022.


According to Tabuk City police, they received a text message around 12 noon from a concerned citizen saying there was an ongoing shabu session at a certain residence in Ay-en Subdivision.


The police immediately proceeded to the area where they confirmed the report. With this, suspects identified as Charles Licudine Bonilla, 24; Lorenzo Buston Bulawit, 28; and Christopher Galingan Madarang, 24, listed as a high-value individual, were nabbed by the responding police.


The cops found and seized 3 pieces of small heat sealed transparent sachets believed to be shabu and drug paraphernalia like assorted used and unused aluminum foil, lighters, and small transparent sachet with residue of suspected shabu.


The confiscated pieces of evidence were inventoried onsite in the presence of witnesses from the barangay, Department of Justice, and media.


The arrested suspects along with the evidence were brought to Tabuk City Police Station. A case for violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 is expected to be filed against them.
