3 new geodetic engineers from SLU are board topnotchers

Baguio City, Philippines – It is not just one or two, but three alumni of Saint Louis University were named top performing in the recently conducted board exam for geodetic engineers.

 

On October 17 – 18, 2024, the Professional Regulation Commission administered the Geodetic Engineers Licensure Examination (GELE) in several testing centers like Baguio, NCR, Cebu, and Davao, among others.

 

More than a week later, the PRC announced that 650 or 48.40% of the 1,343 examinees managed to join the list of licensed geodetic engineers in the country, and three of them were Adrian Philip Alarcio Campos, Abjill Nacino Nilo, and Ruben Padlan Baysic Jr. of SLU.

 

These three, apart from successfully passing the board exam also had high ratings, were included in the list of top 10 examinees.

 

Campos had a mark of 87.40%, landing him in the top 2; Nilo, 86.40%, top 5; and Baysic, 85.20%, and top 9. 

 

The outstanding performance of these new geodetic engineers and their alma mater was commended by the Commission on Higher Education Cordillera.

 

“Kudos to these exceptional individuals for their hard work and dedication. Your success brings pride to SLU and inspires future generations of Louisian engineers!” the agency wrote on its Facebook page.
