3 outstanding police units in Benguet named

Benguet, Philippines - Three police stations in Benguet were recognized as outstanding units in the province for the first semester of 2023.

Said awards were given to them in recognition of their exemplary dedication to duties and efficient performance.

The awardees, as selected by the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (PAGPTD), are the Itogon and Bokod Municipal Police Stations which have been named as "Best MPS" in Category A and Category B, respectively.

The province’s 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, meanwhile, was hailed as the "Best PMFC” in said period.

Plaques of recognition were given to them during the awarding ceremony conducted on Wednesday, August 30.

Meanwhile, Benguet Provincial Police Office (PPO) was also presented with a plaque of recognition from the PAGPTD which was received by PMaj. Irving Keryao, Provincial Police Strategy Management Unit Head.

Present during the event were Governor Melchor Diclas, PMaj. Mathew Burgos, PLt. George Cupido, PMaj. Manuel Soliba Jr., among others.
