3 Shabu peddlers in Tabuk City captured

Tabuk City, Kalinga Tabuk City, Kalinga – Three individuals were arrested for selling suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Purok 6, Bulanao Saturday afternoon, May 28, 2022.

According to the police, the buy-bust operation under ‘Oplan Big Brother’ was launched by the joint operatives from the Cagayan Police Provincial Office, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Cagayan, and Tabuk City police around 3 o’clock in the afternoon on said day.

In said operation, the three suspects who are all from Tabuk City with ages 43, 50, and 32 years old allegedly sold a piece of small sachet believed to be shabu to an undercover operative.

Further, the operatives discovered and seized three other sachets containing the same suspected illegal drugs, assorted drug paraphernalia, two sachets with residue of suspected shabu, four cellular phones, and 40 pieces of P1000 bill used as the buy-bust money from the possession of the suspects.

The confiscated illegal drugs evidence has an estimated value of P68,000.

After inventory, the arrested individuals were brought to Cagayan Police Provincial Office and will be returned to Tabuk City for inquest proceedings.
