3 teens in Tabuk City caught in possession of shabu

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Three teenagers were brought to police custody after being caught with a suspected shabu in the city on Friday, May 19.

The first teen, a 19-year-old high school student in Tabuk City was arrested by the police after they responded to a call from the barangay council of Nambaran past 1:00 p.m.


The suspect was taken to the barangay for allegedly causing trouble and that one of the kagawads later on discovered a small sachet containing suspected shabu from his pocket, the Tabuk City police disclosed.


In a separate operation on same day, operatives from the Kalinga Police Provincial Office nabbed an 18-year-old and 19-year-old out of school youth and residents of Santiago City.

The two were accused of selling a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover operative in Agbannawag. Three additional sachets containing the same contraband were further recovered from them.

These three teenagers are expected to be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
