36 Kalinga police completes criminal investigation course

Tabuk City, Kalinga – A total of 36 police officers in the province finished their Criminal Investigation Course on March 29, 2022.


The conferment of the graduates, giving of Certificate of Completion and awards, and ceremonial pinning were conducted during the closing ceremony at the Prime Ville Aurora Events Place in Bulanao.

In his remarks, Police Lieutenant Colonel Jomarick Felina, the Kalinga Deputy Provincial Director for Administration, explained that the Kalinga Police Provincial Office initiated the criminal investigation course to equip police investigators with the needed knowledge and training to capacitate them, contributing to their performance in increasing crime solution efficiency.


Felina also mentioned that the graduates went through quite ‘tough and exhausting but also an inspiring and rewarding’ experience while undertaking the course.

“We all know the risk of our chosen service, and that is why we took this course to be competent and be able to protect ourselves and the community we are pledged to protect and serve,” he expressed.


The Kalinga Deputy Provincial Director for Administration also expressed his gratitude to Governor Ferdinand Tubban for allocating funds for the said training of the police personnel.

Attendees during the closing ceremony are Keynote Speaker Governor Tubban, represented by Kalinga Provincial Administrator Atty. William Puday Jr., and Tabuk City Vice Mayor Bernard Glenn Dao-as.
