47-yr.-old man dies after motorcycle crashes into parked jeep in Isabela

Echague, Isabela - A 47-year-old man in Isabela died after his motorcycle crashed into a parked jeep evening of Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023.

The casualty was identified as Faustino Managuelod, a farmer, and a resident of Purok 3, Gumbaoan, Echague.

In an investigation made by police, Managuelod was about to go home on board his motorcycle when the incident transpired.

While traversing the road, particularly in Barangay Sinabbaran, Managuelod’s service vehicle accidentally hit the jeep parked on the right side of the road.

A report from local media stated that the jeep was on its hazard light when it was parked in the area.

Due to the impact of the crash, the victim sustained severe injuries to various parts of his body. He was rushed to a hospital by responding authorities, but he was not able to survive.

Meanwhile, the jeep driver, Jervy Balauag, 37, was brought to the police station for further investigation and proper disposition.
