5 gun shot wounds, 1 slug found from the body retrieved in Tabuk City’s irrigation canal


Tabuk City, Kalinga – The body of a lifeless man found floating in the irrigation canal at Barangay Ipil sustained five gun shot wounds on the different parts of his body, according to Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) in the province.


There was also a piece of slug firearm recovered from his body after incision of the visible bluish part on his abdomen. The slug of the still unidentified firearm was taken by the SOCO team for proper disposition.


According to Tabuk City Police Station, the body is still unidentified as it remains unclaimed at the Falgui Funeral Homes as of this writing.


The cadaver was retrieved in the irrigation canal in Ipil this November 12 after it was seen and reported by a concerned citizen. It was described to be 5’ 3” to 5’ 4” tall with “Linda, S” marked on his right chest. There was also a tattoo on his left hand.


Moreover, the lifeless body was wearing a black sweat shirt and blue pants with red stripes.


To those with missing relatives and family members, they may go check and identify the body at Falgui Funeral.
