55-yr.-old woman cuts off husband’s penis over suspicion of infidelity

Baguio City, Philippines – A woman in Baguio City who believed her husband was being unfaithful to her reportedly cut off his genital.

Reports released on July 9 stated that the woman, 55, was already arrested by the police and has been charged with violation of Article 262 of the Revised Penal Code or Mutilation.

Police accounts showed that just before the incident, the husband, 58, and wife had a drinking session at the house of the latter’s sibling. After consuming enough alcohol, the two were said to have gone home.

After arriving at their house in Irisan, the woman who suspected her husband was cheating on her allegedly took a knife and cut off the victim’s private part. The 55-year-old woman ran while the victim sought help.

The 58-year-old husband was brought to the hospital by responding police officers where he was subjected to surgery for the reattachment of his genital.

As the victim recovered, the suspect, on the other hand, was brought to the custody of the Baguio City Police Station 9 before her turnover to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.
