56-yr.-old businessman rapes own niece in Claveria, Cagayan

Claveria, Cagayan – A 56-year-old businessman is now facing rape charges after he allegedly sexually molested his own niece at his sister’s house in Claveria, Cagayan, on Nov. 01, 2023.

It was 8:00 p.m. when the suspect entered the room of his 18-year-old niece.

It was alleged he suddenly grabbed the victim's hand, started kissing her, and forcibly removed all her clothes, including the victim’s underwear.

He then laid her own niece on her bed and started fulfilling his lewd desire for her.

Though the niece claimed she tried to save herself from her own uncle, the latter was strong, making her unable to stop him.

The victim added that she was not able to scream for help since the suspect covered her mouth while doing the crime.

Even after molesting her own niece and getting out of the latter’s room, the suspect tried to enter the girl’s room again, but the niece had already shut her door and called her mother for help.

The incident was reported to the police, and after being notified, authorities proceeded to the victim’s residence.

There, the suspect voluntarily surrendered himself and was brought to the police for proper documentation.
