67-year-old laborer injured after fall at construction site in Baguio City

Baguio City, Philippines – A 67-year-old senior citizen fell while working at a construction site in Baguio City yesterday afternoon, July 3, 2022, causing him injuries.


The victim was identified as Danilo Tomines Tungpalan, married and a resident of Sto. Rosario, Campo Sioco.

The police through Mt. Province Broadcasting Corporation - MPBC revealed that the man was asked by his sibling, Catalina Tomines to work in the construction of her house along with others.


According to the report, the victim apparently slipped while he was climbing the scaffolding, causing him to lose his balance and eventually incurred a five-meter fall.


The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital where he is now being treated.


This is already the fifth reported incident involving construction workers this year.
