67-yr.-old man found dead inside bedroom in Tuguegarao City

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan - A 67-year-old man was found dead inside his bedroom in an apartment in Barangay San Gabriel Village, Tuguegarao City, and Cagayan on the afternoon of Thursday, July 25.

The old man was identified as Restituto, a former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW).

PNP Tuguegarao initially reported that Restituto’s body was discovered lifeless by his maid and neighbors past 5:00 p.m. that day inside his bedroom.

Before the discovery of his dead body, the maid was about to bring Restituto his dinner but after knocking on his door several times, Restituto did not answer.

Alarmed, she decided to seek help from their neighbors to help her open the door as she was worried about his boss’ condition.

When they opened the door, it was then that they saw Restituto lying on his sofa. When they checked on him, he was no longer breathing.

Police are currently waiting for the results of the body’s post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
