8 injured after Tamaraw-FX missed curve and fell into brook in Benguet

Baguio City Philippines- Eight individuals were taken to a hospital after sustaining injuries in a vehicular accident in La Trinidad, Benguet last night, July 12,2022.


The victims were later discharge after receiving treatment for minor injuries.


The victims were identified as Limuel Baliwana, the driver; and his passengers - Jilmer Dang-ay Antonio, Roger Wandan Asim, Christopher Danao Domingo, Francis Jay Bellit, Richard Escad Aramon, Glenn Rey Alonzo Aranon and Joven Escad Leano.

The Benguet police said the victims are all laborers and residents of Loacan, Itogon,Benguet.


According to the police Investigation, the Tamaraw FX was travelling on the diversion road in Betag, La Trinidad when the driver missed the curve of the road which sent the vehicle straight into the brook with a depth of 7 feet.


The victims sustained multiple injuries in various part of their body, but no one was severely injured.
