9 child development workers in Agbannawag, Tabuk participated in program review


Tabuk City, Kalinga – To promote positive outcomes for children and families involved in child welfare in Barangay Agbannawag, 9 Child Development Workers participated in Children Program Review and Evaluation Workshop.


The event was held at the barangay hall in Purok 3, Agbannawag on January 18, 2023.

Said workshop, which was participated by 125 CDWs in Tabuk City, helps them in organizing and strengthening their duties in promoting safety, permanence, and well-being of children and families involved in the child welfare system.


Irene Salamanca, CDW-Agbannawag, explained the program is important for the child development workers as it guides them to perform their responsibilities in providing quality pre-school education and social development services to the children.

“Maup-update kami kadagiti programs nga im-implement ti CSDW para ti pagsayaatan dagiti ubbing, ma-evaluate dagidiay issues and concerns ti each centers ken dagiti development workers,” added Salamanca.


Meantime, the president of the CDWs, Josephine Dumallay, commended the CWDs in the City for their commitment to educate and shape children in their respective barangay.


She also commended the Barangay Council headed by Captain Zarex Guisob for hosting the event.
