Bangued, Abra - A manhunt operation is currently being conducted by the Abra police for the arrest of two unidentified individuals who shot dead a 59-year-old man in the town of Bangued on the evening of Tuesday, March 25.

Based on the report from the Abra PPO obtained by a local media near the area, the victim was identified as Juanito Limis Gammong, a resident of Sitio Turod, Barangay Zone 3, Bangued.

Police are currently verifying information saying the victim is a driver of a known politician in the province.

In an initial investigation, as reported by a witness, it was said the driver, Gammong, entered a house in said barangay at around 7:00 p.m. supposedly to take a rest.
