Abundant Grace of God Maternity Center offers free midwife consultation to community

Tabuk City, Kalinga – Extending its services to more people, the Abundant Grace of God Maternity Center provides free midwife consultation and free blood pressure check-up at the Kalinga Provincial Capitol Park.

Said clinic set up its booth at the left side of the park (when facing the Capitol building) during the opening of the Kalinga Provincial Local Government Unit’s 'Pailaw sa Kapitolyo' on December 6, 2023.

Georgia Leigh – Macad, the clinic’s director, relayed they came up with the idea of putting up a stall in order to extend Abundant Grace of God Maternity Center’s services to more individuals and provide consultation to pregnant women.

“We had the idea to get out into the community more at an event like this, a family event where everyone is coming together. We thought it would be a great opportunity to just let the people of Kalinga know about our services because our services are free. It’s a non-profit organization so it is a service for the people here,” she explained.

As the people stroll around the Provincial Capitol Park and enjoy its glowing lights and fun rides in the evening, they can also have their blood pressure checked without any charge.

“Let’s do some blood pressure because that’s something that we can do to serve them tonight as they’re walking around, they can know their blood pressure and have some candy and enjoy Christmas,” she added.

The director is calling the yKalingas and tourists particularly pregnant women who visit the ‘Pailaw sa Kapitolyo’ to drop by the Abundant Grace of God Maternity Center booth and have their free services.
