Agoo La Union’s top 4 most wanted drug personality uses wits, escapes but recaptured

Baguio City, Philippines – A drug personality in Agoo, La Union who was hiding in the city was arrested by the operatives this November 17.

According to the press release of PDEA Cordillera, suspect Fugitive Teofilo Lopez was already nabbed in La Union but was able to escape his police escort after coughing on him on their way to the hospital.

The action caused the said escort to stop the car to disinfect himself. The suspect then took this as a chance to jump off the car and escape. Lopez decided to go to Baguio City to hide.

On November 17, however, Lopez was brought back to the hands of the operatives after the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Cordillera served his warrant of arrest at Quirino Hill, the place where he was hiding.

“We will make Baguio City and the Cordillera Region a very uncomfortable place for drug dealers, they only have two options, leave the City or face the consequence, whatever it may be,” PDEA-Cordillera stated.

The arrested individual is listed as fourth most wanted person for drugs in Agoo, La Union.
