Aguinaldo, Ifugao all set for year-end youth homecoming

Aguinaldo, Ifugao – Exciting games and events await the youth of Aguinaldo, Ifugao for their year-end homecoming slated for Thursday and Friday at the Municipal Gymnasium in Galonogon village.

Yuletide season has been a season of homecoming in the locality of Aguinaldo where those residing in town and those who left for employment, study and career opportunities outside return for gatherings.

This 2022, Aguinaldo government under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Gaspar B. Chilagan Jr. sets various activities, open for all the youth members in town.

On Dec. 29, the program will commence with a parade to be followed by native dance, parlor games, tug of war, basketball, and volleyball. At night, representatives from all of the barangays and/or chapters will vie for the “Akhinnaja and Aligkhujon” crown.

Ball games will be continued the next day.

Pop dance competition, battle of the bands (open entry) and Singing Idol (open entry) will be held on Friday night.

Winners will be announced and will be awarded before the closing program on Saturday.

Mayor Chilagan invites all the youth to attend and participate in the recreational activities organized for them.
