Aguinaldo, Ifugao gets regional accolade for contributions to healthcare system advancement

Aguinaldo, Ifugao – After gaining recognition from the provincial government of Ifugao and the Regional Nutrition Committee in November, Aguinaldo was hailed anew for its commitment and contributions to the advancement of the healthcare system.

Municipal Health Officer Dr. Virginia Dulnuan on Monday received the “Dangal ng PhilHealth Award” during the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) – Cordillera’s “Pasasalamat at Pagkilala.”

Held in Baguio City, the event aims to honor the diligent work and unceasing efforts of healthcare institutions, health professionals, and partners in promoting universal healthcare coverage.

The agency commended Aguinaldo’s initiatives that have made significant strides in enhancing healthcare services and their support with PhilHealth in achieving its mandate.

The municipal government under the leadership of Mayor Gaspar Chilagan Jr. has been improving healthcare access, affordability, equity, and quality for the people in town and the recognitions are a bonus for the genuine services of the officials and employees.

The mayor acknowledged all concerned offices for the recent feat and encouraged them to continue striving not just for today’s generation but for the next to come.
