Aguinaldo youth turn over raised fund to fire victim


Aguinaldo, Ifugao – After raising fund from their “Walk and Zumba for a Cause,” Aguinaldo youth turned over the collected amount to a family at Sitio Sagpat, Ubao, Aguinaldo who lost house to a fire on Jan. 13, 2023.


Youth Mobile Force – Ifugao (Aguinaldo Chapter), in partnership with other youth organizations and government agencies, organized the event to somehow help Rosita Abagan and family get back to their feet.

Held on Saturday, Feb, 04, the fundraising activity started at 5:00 a.m., from Posnaan-Ubao boundary to Ubao Public Market. Along their way, the youth conducted clean up drive.


Each student-registrant and those non-working paid P50 while employed gave P100.


President of YMF – Aguinaldo, Jenifer Ataman informed a total of 87 individuals joined the activity.


Following their walk and zumba, the youth played basketball and volleyball.


The organizers then handed over the collected P8,000 to the recipient before ending the program.

On behalf of YMF Ifugao - Aguinaldo Chapter, Johnwill Bragas expressed gratitude for those who participated, including those who donated and those who sponsored the foods and snacks.


“Thank you so much, may God bless you a thousand folds. May your tribe multiply… Godbless your works and Godbless your journey,” he said.


“To Mrs. Rosita Abagan, may you accept this small amount that we've raised from this activity. May this amount will help you to stand again in this unexpected event in your life,” he added.
