Alfonso Lista, Ifugao conferred excellence awards by DA-PhilRice

Alfonso Lista, Ifugao – The municipal government of Alfonso Lista in Ifugao province was recently recognized by the Department of Agriculture - Philippine Rice Research Institute (DA-PhilRice) as the most outstanding locality in Cordillera under the medium-scale category promoting inbred rice seeds.

This, according to the department, signifies the local government’s invaluable contribution and remarkable performance in the implementation of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund - Seed and Extension Programs for the 2022 Wet Season.

“This award is a testament of your steadfast resolve and committed actions to carry out your sworn duty to serve Filipino farmers. May it inspire you to continue pursuing excellence and selfless service,” stated the department.

Accomplishments of Alfonso Lista LGU

With the leadership, competence, efficiency, and dedication to the public service of Alfonso Lista LGU, the municipality was able to achieve 105% of its seed delivery target.

Further, 100% of the high-quality certified seeds delivered to the locality have already been distributed to its rice farmers.

“DA-PhilRice also recognizes your consistent and conscientious abidance by the documentation protocol. Lastly, we extoll your efforts in extending your valuable resources and providing meaningful insights to enhance the implementation of the program,” the department underscored.

The department announced the two excellence awards of Alfonso Lista, headed by Mayor Edralin Alipio on August 5, 2022, at the DA-PhilRice Station, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
